Made to the same design as Kahrs’ Original planks, the new stairnose comes in three stair-style formats: lipped-edge Classic 40 and Classic 60, and straight edged Modern for floors from 10mm to 20mm in thickness, and in finishes, including lacquer, matt lacquer, brushed, nature oil, bevelled edge and stained. Solid profiles are available for use with Kährs 7mm Linnea range.
The new moulding system includes a metal track for improved anchoring, while a MDF shim gives optimal height adjustment for use across more floor heights. Trims are available in bevel, T and L designs and in a variety of formats from 7mm to 20mm in thickness.
Kährs accessories range also includes skirtings and mouldings, underlays, installation, maintenance and repair products. Underlay options include acoustic and DPM materials for use over concrete subfloors, whilst installation tools include knocking blocks, jemmys, wedges, PVAC wood glue and DIY installation kits. Schlüter suppliedtiling products for a new hardware store in the Swedish Clas Ohlson chain.
The 1,760sq m store is in the Frenchgate Shopping Centre, Doncaster.
During the store’s construction, movement joints from the Schlüter- Dilex range were installed throughout by Aylesford-based AB Flooring after being supplied by Schlüter customer PFJ Lilley & Sons.
