Difference Between Engineered And Laminate Flooring
In this modern era of access to all kinds of resources, there are plenty of flooring options to choose from. And most clients do not make a difference between some of the main ones – such as laminate and engineered floors. Their main difference comes from their construction basics, resulting in a difference in costs, life expectancy and maintenance. The engineered wood is made of 100% natural materials – an upper layer of solid wood adhered to an undercore of polywood. The multilayer undercore is timber stuck in opposing directions and providing the flooring extreme sustainability and water resistance. On the other hand, the laminate is constructed of entirely synthetic materails laminated together to form a board. The upper layer is a print of any kind – most often an image or real solid wood. Other differences include refreshing treatment against normal wear and tear, costs inequality and installation process. The Flooring Group will provide every customer the flooring option best suitable for their homes and budget.
