The 2017 Flooring Show Success
From 17th to 19th September 2017 the latest Flooring Show was held at the Harrogate Convention Centre. It went with a total success and over 3000 visitors, as well as many retailers and contractors. The participants were 200 showcasing the latest trends in the wood flooring, carpets, laminate, accessories, tools and many more, creating a more than electric buzz in the exhibition hall throughout the whole event.
As usual, the majority of the crowds gathered in the Demo areas filled with amazing demonstrations. Many events were present to entertain and keep the hype of the show – the Trends Hub offered immaculate hotel and office displays; Carpet Fitter of the year competition (won by Byron Terrett); Business advisors and Seminar Speaker, etc.
This year was the first to announce a new feature – the Contract Zone in Hall Q. It was among the most preferred and proved very popular with interior designers, architects, facility managers, etc. It was so successful for a first timer, that is certain to be back and regular from next year.
As always, the aim of the Flooring Show is to bring together all areas of the flooring industry and have them benefit from the exhibition. This year it has celebrated its 55th anniversary with a huge success. The organisers have managed to keep their ambition of collaboration within the flooring industries thriving throughout the years. The festival is scheduled to last for 3 consecutive days in September and is the hot spot and the biggest event in any industry calendar.
The days for the next event have already been announced – from Sunday 16th September 2018 to Tuesday 19th September 2018 and it worth putting it in the diary.
