The Global Company Interface Invests In New Birmingham HQ

One of the major office buildings in Birmingham city centre is already fully let. Among the tenants is a global flooring company that has relocated its UK head office following a £1m investment. Its name is Interface and has relocated to The Colmore Building as a new UK HQ. The company will retain a team is Halifax from where it has relocated. Interface specialises in the design and manufacture of carbon-neutral carpet tiles and resilient flooring solutions including luxury vinyl tile and rubber flooring. It originated from Atlanta, Georgia, The USA and trades on NASDAQ.

The Vice-president and UK general manager Lee Mellor believes this is an exciting time for growth in the UK as they have so much to show and share with the customers. Lee thinks that the investment in Birmingham has created a positive space that will inspire The company’s team and customers alike, as well as architects and designers from across the region.

The Colmore Building which comprises 314,000 ft2 of grade A office space and spans over 14 storeys, has been fully let now. It has been Birmingham’s best performing building in terms of lettings over the past 18 months and this strong performance completes the vision to bring a new standard of a workplace to the Birmingham market. The Colmore Building is undoubtedly one of the city’s most exciting office addresses, and it is certainly delighted to welcome Interface to the building.
