Pinkberry – Commercial Flooring Case Study
Pinkberry is among the most popular names that sell frozen delights. It has become so well-known, that it has expanded its presence all over the globe. And it should come to no surprise that the Pinkberry store in London needed to enhance its floor to camouflage the many years of heavy customer foot traffic.
The Flooring Group is proud to announce that we were called upon for the job. The yogurt shop needed a durable floor which would be able to handle constant day-to-day wear from all the hungry customers. Apart from that, the flooring needed to be attractive and in coherence with the rest of the welcoming space.
This location originally had a vinyl floor, but it needed to be removed and replaced. After its disposal, we have seen the original subfloor which was a resin floor. We decided to lift the existing floor to have better support. Underneath it, we built in two layers of plywood, at 9mm and at 6mm, and completed all with a smooth finish.
Next came the drawing for the new design of the floor. The tiles we have chosen were 18” x 18” Kula Kula from Amtico in a gorgeous diamond effect that we applied above the plywood base.
At the finale, the Pinkberry owners were extremely happy with the look and finish of the new floor. The employees of The Flooring Group were treated with free frozen yoghurt for the job well done.
We are delighted to announce that our Pinkberry project has been featured in Floor Covering Weekly Magazine. Read the full article here.
