Courses Draw Strong Support
QUICK-STEP ACADEMY has reported an excellent uptake in its courses in 2014 with particular interest from wood, laminate and LVT installers.
‘We’ve been delighted with the uptake we’ve had to foundation and master installer courses at the start of this year,’ says Darren Robinson, the Academy training and development manager.
‘It shows that installers are recognising the benefits of being associated with the Quick-Step brand, as well as valuable extra work from being listed on the company website’.
Attending the LVT master installer scheme is a prerequisite for retailers wanting to become a Livyn stockist, but the wood and laminate master installer qualification is still optional for those stocking engineered wood and laminate under the Quick-Step brand.
However, advantages of having the qualification include a manufacturer-backed two-year installation warranty, technical support and the potential to be TrustMark accredited.
The Quick-Step Academy also offers a wood sanding & finishing course that covers a multitude of sanding and finishing techniques for different species of wood.
