THE first upskilling training day of the year organised by FeRFA saw the focus on preparing backgrounds to receive resin flooring. The course was held at The Preparation Group’s facility in Lincoln.
With a mixture of classroom and practical sessions, FeRFA upskilling sessions are specifically designed to give candidates plenty of hands-on experience on a range of machines for shotblasting, grinding and planing for various projects.
The delegates were taken through the principles of preparation, the types of equipment and method of operation, the profiles achieved with each and how to choose a suitable method for a given project.
FeRFA will shortly be launching an upskilling e-learning module on surface preparation.
