ANTRON LUMENA carpet fibre from INVISTA, which claims to offer lightfastness and stain-resistance, is featured in the new Frequency carpet tile design from Quadrant Carpets.
In 12 colourways, it is said to be adaptable, and according to the manufacturer, provides designers with a wide spectrum of mood and narrative pathways and permits the blurring between linear and geometric shapes.
Designer James Scully explains: ‘I was inspired during a passing meteor shower.
I wanted to retain the feeling of dynamic movement, providing freedom of possibility.’ Using a 12th gauge construction developed to offer a higher density and more durable carpet tile, Frequency is said to take advantage of Antron Lumena’s ability to resist soiling, making the tile suitable for use in high-traffic commercial locations.www.invista.com T: 0845 450 6434 This article has been reproduced from the Contract Flooring Journal.
