Advanced Wood Courses Offered

EXPERIENCED wood floor installers and renovators are invited to join the Bona Certified Contractor Scheme. The scheme comprises four days of intensive training delivered in two separate two-day sessions.
As part of the scheme, contractors also receive a free Bona DCS vacuum system to enable them to offer a dust free sanding service to their customers. Other benefits include referrals from the company via leaflets in Bona’s consumer cleaning products, consumer exhibitions and Bona’s advertising and PR campaigns.
Contractors who have completed their training are authorised to use the Bona Certified Contractor logo on all their marketing materials. Ongoing training courses will ensure members are kept informed about new product developments. Branded workwear is also supplied.
The first two training days are held at Bona’s HQ in Milton Keynes and cover advanced sanding and finishing using the company’s high performance lacquers, oils and colours. The second two-day session is held at Floorskills training centre, Solihull, where a course specially developed for Bona covers subfloor preparation and installation of solid and floating wood floors.
Neither session is suitable for beginners, and Bona’s technical team will assess each candidate’s suitability for entry to the scheme.
