Bespoke Courses For Retailers To Sell Laminate & Luxury Vinyl Tiles

THE Academy for Excellence in Flooring recently held a bespoke course for flooring retailers looking to convert customers to purchases of Quick-Step flooring.
Looking at the up-selling opportunities in Quick-Step laminate, hardwood and LVT flooring, the one-day course reportedly delivered insight through additional product knowledge, features, benefits and additional revenue stream offered by accessories.
Practical topics covered included moisture testing, planning, preparation and installation, as well as fault identification and responsibility, maintenance and general floor problems.
‘The course met our expectations and we found it very helpful. Everything was explained well by our trainers, who knew their product, and also all the associated products needed in the fitting process,’ said Iain Cottrell of Tony Roberts Carpets.
The Academy for Excellence in Flooring will tailor similar courses for retailers, working closely with them to ensure the content meets their needs.
