The Flooring Group has been in partnership with Cavalier Carpets for many years now.
Below, Cavalier Carpets explain the benefits of their products to customers;
Our founder began selling carpet to homeowners from a market stall, then began building a reputation as a leading british manufacturer in the early seventies.
Although todays tastes may be more sophisticated and choice seems to be endless, our commitment to providing the homemaker with the finest range of quality floorcoverings still stands.
Every one of our residential products goes through the same rigorous process of development and precise manufacture as a bespoke order, to ensure the customer receives the carpet they desire.
Nobody else can offer the same level of quality, choice and colour off the peg.
At Cavalier we like to think there is no such thing as a ‘plain carpet!

Wool has several unique features that makes it the perfect
choice for carpet. What is so special about wool
and what sets wool apart?
Fun wool facts
A sheep’s wool never stops growing; 1 years growth is about 4 kilos of wool and each kilo of wool makes up to 5 miles of yarn. Sheep live, on average for 10 years, so during a lifetime each sheep is responsible for the carpet required for an average living room.
Sheep were first domesticated around 10,000 years ago and man first learned how to spin wool about 3,500 bc. 5500 years later ‘Dolly’, was the first mammal to be cloned, scientists named her after singer Dolly Parton.
Wool is wrinkle resistant, fire resistant & a great insulater, it also has an incredible natural UV (Sunlight) Protection built in. The same cannot be said of manmade fabrics, how cool is that ?
In the 15th century, Spain’s thriving wool trade financed the expeditions of its conquistadors, including the voyage Christopher Columbus made to the New World, in fact he came from a family of wool traders.
Carpet that is tough enough to deal with everyday life!

Stain Removal Tips
Most stains that are allowed to dry overnight will become more difficult to remove. This also applies to hot beverages as they become heat set. So whenever possible always deal with any stains as soon as they happen. Cover gloss paint with cling film or polythene to prevent drying.
Use renew exclusive Organic Stain Remover as follows:
Blot any surface liquid, or in the case of other spills, remove as much of the spillage as possible.
Holding the Renew Organic Stain Remover approximately 12″ away, direct the spray to cover the whole stain.
Using the bottom of a dessert spoon, agitate the solution on & around the stain.
With a clean white cloth, apply pressure and blot up the renew Organic Stain Remover solution. Never rub the stain or you could damage the carpet pile.
It may be necessary to repeat the above process several times on stubborn stains.
Do not lift carpets or roll them up
Do not rub the stain. Always blot it up.
Do not try to dry out by applying heat.
Do not use solvents, detergents, turpentine or other solutions on wool rich carpets.
