Surface Design Show Takes The Floor

Flooring exhibitors at the Surface Design Show include:
Fila (Stand 348), the natural surface care specialist, will showcase its award-winning Green Line and new treatments. Product focuses will include LEED-approved, solvent-free sealer Fila MP90 Eco plus designed to protect polished and unpolished stone and polished porcelain, as well as Fila’s range of high performance cleaners. A new protective dirt-barrier Filastop Dirt will demonstrate the breadth of Fila’s range, which recently received ISO 14001 certification and is claimed to be recommended by 200 leading brands.
Part of Fila’s Green Line, which received TTA’s best environmental initiative award, Fila MP90 Eco plus is a water-based, biodegradable treatment that protects against stains, without forming a film or altering appearance. It is designed for the treatment of floors, walls and worktops indoors and also food contact areas. Outdoors, it can be applied to surfaces with some residual moisture, claimed to cut application time by up to 80%. Fila MP90 Eco plus is also very low VOC and GEV-Emicode EC1Plus certified.
New Filastop Dirt also is described as providing invisible protection, preventing dirt build-up and promoting easy cleaning of textured and unpolished porcelain. The UV-resistant treatment is said to chemically bond without leaving a film or altering the material’s original degree of slipperiness, as proven in tests conforming to the BCRA and ASTMC 1028-2007 methods, and in the English Standard BS 7976 Pendulum tests.
In addition to surface protectors, epoxy-removing Fila CR10; degreasing wax remover, Fila PS87 and universal pH-neutral detergent, Fila Cleaner will also be presented, along with new technical support services and global reference materials. T: 01584 877286
